Legal
Terms & Conditions
Effective 10 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ('Terms') govern access to and use of HR Sight (the 'Platform'), operated by CENITPRO (Proprietor: Alok Kumar), a proprietorship registered under GSTIN 19BGIPK5049Q1ZL, with its registered address at 5/23, Netaji Nagar, Regent Park, Kolkata, West Bengal 700040, India ('HR Sight', 'we', 'us', 'our'). By registering an organization, creating an account, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Member Organization" means an organization registered on the Platform, once approved.
- "HR User" means an individual authorized by a Member Organization to act on its behalf on the Platform (an Owner or HR/Org Admin).
- "Candidate" means an individual whose employment, education, address, reference, or other declared information is the subject of a Verification Case.
- "Verification Case" means a request initiated by a Member Organization to verify information declared by a Candidate.
- "Membership" means the paid annual membership described in our Payment Terms.
- "Trust Index" means the computed reputation score described in Section 8.
2. Who can use HR Sight
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Platform. If you register on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms. Organizations register as either an HR representative or as business owner/leadership; both accept these Terms in the same way.
Organization registrations are subject to review and approval before full access is granted. We may decline, suspend, or disable an organization's access at our discretion — including where a registration appears fraudulent, duplicative, or otherwise inconsistent with the community-trust purpose of the Platform.
3. The nature of the Platform
HR Sight is a community-driven employment verification and networking platform. Its core mechanism: a Candidate declares information about their own employment, education, references, address, and (where requested) any criminal record, in a guided flow; the Candidate then explicitly consents to what gets shared and with whom; the relevant employer, institution, or reference contact is asked to confirm each declared claim; and HR Sight produces a field-by-field comparison of what was declared against what was confirmed.
4. Community obligations
HR Sight is built on a specific reciprocal commitment: every Member Organization agrees to respond to genuine verification requests it receives from other organizations, whether or not it currently holds a paid Membership. This obligation is what makes the network function, and is a condition of using the Platform, not an optional courtesy.
You agree not to, and not to permit any HR User acting on your behalf to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information in any Verification Case, declaration, or response.
- Use the Platform to harass, defame, or discriminate against any Candidate or other organization.
- Attempt to verify a Candidate without the Candidate's explicit, informed consent obtained through the Platform's consent flow.
- Circumvent, probe, or interfere with the Platform's security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Use community features (posts, comments, templates, resources) to advertise unrelated products or services, or to share another person's confidential information without authorization.
- Attempt to purchase, trade, or otherwise artificially inflate Trust Index standing or community rank.
Content and conduct may be flagged for review by other Member Organizations or platform administrators. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate this Section, using the moderation process described in-Platform.
5. Candidate participation
Candidates do not register for or pay for the Platform. A Candidate's only interaction is through a case-specific, tokenized link sent to them for a particular Verification Case: declaring their own information, verifying their identity, and giving or declining consent to share specific declared items with the requesting Member Organization.
No information about a Candidate is shared with any Member Organization until the Candidate has given explicit consent to that specific disclosure. A Candidate may decline consent at any stage prior to giving it; declining does not create any liability to HR Sight. See our Privacy Policy for how Candidate data is handled.
6. Membership and fees
Registering an organization, responding to verification requests, and participating in the community (discussions, knowledge base, templates, events, learning content) are free. Creating your own Verification Cases requires an active, paid annual Membership. Full pricing, payment method, confirmation process, and renewal mechanics are set out in our Payment Terms, which form part of these Terms. Refunds and cancellation are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Documents and data you submit
Member Organizations and Candidates may upload supporting documents (e.g. identity proof, education certificates, employment letters, payment receipts) through the Platform. You represent that you have the right to submit any document you upload and that it is accurate and not fraudulent. We store uploaded documents in access-controlled storage and apply the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Trust Index and community ranks
The Trust Index is a computed, per-organization score based on Responsiveness, Reliability, Tenure, and Community Contribution — never on organization size or how much a Membership costs. Paying for Membership grants the entry-level "Verified Member" standing (since the payment itself, made by bank transfer from your organization's own current account, is a check on your organization being a real, active business); every tier above that is earned solely through participation and cannot be purchased at any price. There is no public leaderboard. The Trust Index is a good-faith, algorithmic indicator only, is not a certification, guarantee, or credit-style rating, and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its design, software, and HR Sight-authored content (templates, learning modules, guides), is owned by or licensed to HR Sight and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit (posts, templates, resources you author, declared information), and grant HR Sight a limited license to host, display, and process it as necessary to operate the Platform and provide the Service to you and, where you have consented, to other Member Organizations.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HR Sight disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that verification outcomes are complete, accurate, or current, or that any Member Organization will respond within any particular time.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HR Sight and its proprietor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the Platform, including any hiring or engagement decision made in reliance on information obtained through it. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the Membership fees paid by you to HR Sight in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HR Sight harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or any content or information you submit through the Platform.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or disable an organization's access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, non-payment beyond the applicable grace period (which lapses the organization's ability to create new Verification Cases only — responding to requests and community participation remain available regardless of Membership status), or as required by law. You may stop using the Platform at any time; this does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10–12 and 15–16) will survive.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email to registered HR Users at least 15 days before taking effect where practicable. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Grievance redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, grievances regarding the Platform may be addressed to our Grievance Officer, whose details are published in our Privacy Policy. We will acknowledge grievances promptly and aim to resolve them within a reasonable time.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the grievance redressal process above, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform.
17. Contact
